Looks good. Quitman returns most starters an has a great chance to repeat.
What did Foreman gain from last year? I think they lost their first game in the regionals last year to Parkers Chapel so I'm just wondering why they are at the 2 spot. Also I don't think Poyen lost a single starter from last years team so I would think they have a good shot at making it back too.
Junction City didn't make it to regionals last year in a weak 3-A conference. Their current 2-A conference will be tougher than their 3-A conference was so they must be much improved.
They might prove me wrong but I definitely don't see junction in the top 10. Poyen should be top 3-5
Last I heard Foreman was very close to not having enough girls for a team. Also, Horatio is back in 2A and should have an even stronger team than last season. Murfreesboro has a new coach, but returns almost all their talent from last year.
Horatio is my pick to win 2-A.
Just my opinion I think Woodlawn should be top 10 also
2A is Quitman's to lose and it shouldn't be close.
Watched smack and Horatio yesterday. Horatio looks pretty good.

Horatio didn't pitch Beasley but they couldn't hit either. Horatio beat Nashville in the prior game that night. Beasley is a beast on the bump and at the plate. She's hit at least 6 out that I know of. Murfreesboro is no slouch and they are scrappy. New coach this year. Horatio will be a force to be reckoned with in 2A.

Have you actually seen any of these teams play? I have seen 7 out of the 10 and you have a couple in there based upon tradition. Both are very down this year. I know these polls are just opinion.

McCrory field is not the right place to host the girls regional. needs to be moved somewhere else

Yeah, I was there. Quitman strung some hits together in the fourth inning in what had been a 1-0 Baptist Prep lead. They hit a few balls really hard and didn't make any mistakes. Baptist was off balance all night at the plate except for the ball Mckenzie blasted over the fence and the one Taylor burned to the base of the fence in right center for a stand up triple. Nice win Quitman.
