Title: From Matinee to Prime Time?
Post by: x14113 on November 30, 2017, 10:06:47 pm
With the 2A title game pushed back a week, that leaves the 4A championship as the only game in town on 12/9.

What are the chances it'll get pushed back to at least a 6:00 kickoff?

About 80% sure they will.  More $$$ for a night game on a Saturday.

Teams are accustomed to playing at night, hope they push the kickoff back.

Hey, why pay a light bill when you don't have to?  Seriously, the 12:00 time has been scheduled for a while, and many people have arranged their personal schedule to fit it.  So, even though many would love it, much flak would be raised by changing it.  I personally would rather have a day game.  It is supposed to be below freezing that night.  The visitors side (Arkadelphia's) will be in the sunlight for the day game and Warren's fans will be freezing, in the shade of the pressbox, so there's that.lol Maybe it will keep their cheering down.lol
