Parkview is making its 22nd appearance in the state championship game. ... Pine Bluff is making its 17th appearance in the title game. ... Parkview won the 6A-South with a 13-1 mark and was the top seed. ... Pine Bluff and El Dorado tied for second in the 6A-South with 10-4 marks. ... Pine Bluff and El Dorado split their conference games but El Dorado won by 10 points while Pine Bluff only won by four points in the head-to-head meeting, earning El Dorado the second seed. ... Also another story. John Tate will have played in 6 Championship games (4 football 2 basketball) since the 9th grade. A win tomorrow will give him 4 Championship rings!

Pine Bluff's shot selection is horrible. Parkview is killing the offensive glass. They're a really scrappy team. Glad I decided to come watch this game

6 players over 6'4" is pretty easy to crash to boards for parkview
