I've got Quitman over Pangburn in the finals of the girls. Not sure on the boys side.

No doubt about it CT, I got us and Quitman, and y'all and Lighthouse in the semis
1-4 is definitely much better than the rest of the field this year in boys. Girls it will Pangburn and Quitman. The boys is going to be exciting, but I got Qutman and White County in finals.

Y'all too. England success this year is a complete shock to me. There are no true stars on the team, and it is working for them. After the first couple of games, I thought they would be lucky to go 500. Coach Houser has done an outstanding job.
The only concern I have about this tournament season is how the flu will effect teams. We have already had some of our better players out with the flu, and almost had to cancel school due to the number of students out this past week.

Yes y'all came out of no where this year a coach with a plan and kids that will buy in is a great thing in high school basketball! Are boys are usually not the most talented but they play defense hard and coach always has a plan for game and it's different from team to team we play! I'm glad y'all got a good coach! We have had a good Coach the past few years. Our old Coach, and now Superintendent, lead us to a State Title in 2015. I think we made the State Tournment every year he coached. We did not expect much this year with zero starters returning and only three seniors. One of our seniors who played as a freshman on the 2015 team couldn't play this season due to a football injury.
WCC does have a very good Coach and gets all he can out of his players. I love watching games that are like a chess match. I love tournament time.

Momalion, if you had players on the 2014 team as freshman, they are not eligible this year. England had one Sr. this year that was a freshman on our 2015 State Title Team. When you enter the 9th grade you have four consecutive years of eligibility and not five.

Bigelow is a tough place to play, especially if the fans are amped up, small gym, old style with about a 4 foot wall 3 feet off the court and bleachers that go mostly straight up, everything is wooden and echoes. Their fans have been known to be ornery and I'm sure Bigelow was feeling it at first.
Bigelow played great first half. Pressure D finally got to them. Tough win.
I think the difference between first half and second half that I watched was defense intensity if England would have come out at start of game with that defense it would have been a blow out!

Looked like Burgener from Quitman played 3 or 4 guys he hasn't played in a game that mattered all year. Starters were all in foul trouble by the 2nd quarter. I think the subs logged more minutes than his starters.

It was a complete guess. I really thought WCC would win the game. England will have to play better then their first game to beat Quitman. We may be playing y'all for the 3/4 game. WCC will be a tough draw for a 1/2 seed in the regional. I hate our girls lost, but we only had one Sr. England girls will be in the mix next year.

All 4 teams are pretty even I figure all 4!boys teams will win in regionals! And it could possibly the 3 and 4 playing for regional champs that's how close all 4 are! We will have atleast one challenge Lavaca has a solid team!

This is a solid bunch of kids that have worked hard all year and gotten better all season. I think the improvement was gradual enough that most opponents probably looked over it. This bunch under coach B do not know how to quit. As far as the fans go...Qtown travels well and has for some time now.
Congrats to Quitman Sr. Boys. Had to win 2 very tough games to capture their first District Title in over a decade. Would like to watch this team take Region and be noisy in State tournament.
