I just go Magnolia's results, with a couple times.

4th- 4x800, 8:17
2nd- 110 Hurdles
1st- 300 Hurdles
3rd- 100 meter dash
1st- 4x400 3:20
1st- 4x100

We placed Sean Edwards in the TJ, but I don't know what.

Shawn Alexander, our excellent mid to long distance runner, would have ran the mile and 800, but was staying healthy for the 4x400. Also, our sophomore sprinter decided to not run the 200 as well, so we easily would have placed high in every running event except for the 400.

The winner of the 800, from what I heard, from Bentonville, ran a 1:55, but thats word of mouth. 2 Mile was the runner from Lake Hamilton in 9:22.

Looks like Magnolia has a very good chance to pull a Batesville :D.. three-peat! Good luck in the offseason; I'll be running with some of the distance people, getting them ready for XC!

I wish our guy from Helena would have came with us to MOC.  He threw 52.075 @ state in 5A and had a Pr of 56.  I think he could have won it.

MEET OF CHAMPS

Junior sprinter is in full bloom

Rose wins 3 events, sets mark

BY NICK WALKER ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE

CABOT — They should have called it the Meet of Fred.
Fred Rose, a junior from Texarkana, won the 100, 200 and 400 meters at the Meet of Champs at Cabot High School on Wednesday — setting a state record in the 100 meters. His 10.52 edged the 21-year-old record of 10.54 set by Melvin Lewis of Little Rock Central at the 1986 Meet of Champs.
Rose had flirted with Lewis' time throughout the season, running a personal best of 10.62 earlier in the season, but it took the top competition in the state to bring out a record.
"There were some guys out there pushing me," Rose said. "It was a good race."
That competition included Jeff Henderson, a senior from Sylvan Hills.
Henderson won the triple jump and long jump, setting a Meet of Champs record in the former. His jump of 47 feet and 3 inches narrowly eclipsed the previous record of 47-0 set last year by Little Rock Parkview's Donavan Loring. He also narrowly lost to Rose in the 100 meters, finishing second in 10.59 seconds.
Still, Rose was the star of the day. Even for a school rich in sprinter tradition, Rose's performance was a special one.
"I've talked to a lot of the old-timers around Texarkana," Razorbacks Coach Steve Baxley said. "And even they tell me that he's unlike anything they've ever seen."
Magnolia Coach Dyun Long said that he got to see firsthand this season just how dominating Rose could be when he wanted to.
"He's clearly the best runner in this state, and I'd imagine would be the best in a lot of states," Long said. "And the bad thing for all of us [other schools in the state] is that he's just a junior."
A week earlier at the Class 6A state meet, Rose struggled — barely winning the trio as he competed in seven events. At the Meet of Champs, however, he was able to focus on his three top events.
"He's not nearly as gassed as he was last week," Baxley said.
In fact, the only event that Rose didn't set a personal record in was the 400 meters, which Baxley said could eventually become his best event.
"And, to be honest with you, 10.5 100-meter guys are a dime a dozen on the collegiate level," Baxley said. "But, I think that Fred could run the kind of 400 times that coaches would take notice of."
Rose appeared to want his running to do the talking, elaborating little when asked how the race shaped up or about his opponents. When asked what he can do to improve on his state record in the 100 and three titles at the meet of champs, he was equally short with his answer: "Run a 10.4," Rose replied.
Henderson said he's never competed in a decathlon, but he thought that he'd give next week's competition a try. His dominating performance in the two jumps and his solid numbers in the 100 meters have him convinced to try the 10-event decathlon next week, and his coach convinced that he can finish in the top 10.
"The little sheet I filled out for him had him projected to finish with like 6,900 points on the low end and like 7,200 points on the high end," Sylvan Hills Coach Rocky Fawcett said.
Either of those totals would have been good enough for a top-five finish in 2006, when Ashdown's Robbie Buckner won the title with 7,820 points.
Fawcett said that he thought that the only events keeping Henderson from having a legitimate shot at winning a decathlon title are the 1,600 meters and the pole vault.
"He's a strong kid, so I don't think throwing will be a big issue," Fawcett said.

Work those guys hard and make sure they stay in good shape! ;)

Congrats to the Panthers on another great season.  I'm already looking forward to next year!
