Looks like the East has already found its four teams that will make it to state and I was about to say the same thing for the West but LRC missed an opportunity to keep a 2 game cushion as they closed out the 1st half. It looks like LRC will be the mystery team the year as they beat Greenbrier but lost to Beebe (which in retrospect seems hard to understand)....

So, do you just not take head-to-head tiebreakers into account until each team has played each other twice? Pine Bluff should still be at the top of the 5A-Central because it has a win over LR Hall.
Here are the current Class 5A standings with all tie-breaking practices taken into account, except I'm not quite sure on the three-way tie for second in the 5A-East because it's supposed to be the one with the least points eliminated before a head-to-head consideration with the top two. Nettleton and West Memphis having the same TB points really muddles things. I just went with Jonesboro having the most points at second and then went with Nettleton's win at WM to make the Raiders third.

I didn't catch the game, seven. I know Alma got up and Vilonia started hitting shots and staved off Alma the rest of the game. Vilonia definitely salvaged their hope for a postseason berth. I think Alma would still have the tiebreaker on them since Alma beat them by 10+ while Vilonia beat Alma by 4.

After the 1st half of the boys game, I thought Alma had the game in control.
#13 from Alma was hitting shots from everywhere inside the building in that half and looked comfortable doing so. If he ever puts a full game like that half together, he could easily drop 50 on someone.
Alma's second half was totally different - especially the 4th quarter.
Hard to see any one reason why but when you start missing shots, it can be contagious.
A close game throughout.

Definitely agreed - I was just running through all the possible outcomes with respect to being sure Fair was eliminated.
HUGE game in Maumelle tonight. The Hornets defeated Jacksonville 84-76. The score is important because Maumelle had to win by at least 7. The 4 seed won't be determined until the last regular season games. Maumelle travels to Watson Chapel. Jacksonville is in with a win over Hall or a Maumelle loss to WC. Maumelle is in with a win over WC and a Jacksonville loss to Hall.
