I think that would be good. Veryyyyyy good indeed.
Head coach or assistant?

thabeast428

Idk all I heard he applied there and didn't ask what position

THA TRUTH

Jimbo Morphis

Didn't know Proudbuck got rid of their head coach.

Rida4Life

Rumor around Union County is that a couple of head coaches had been reassigned.  Nothing has been officially announced that I know of but certainly the schools in this conversation may be the ones.

I wouldn't say got rid of. More on the lines of, reassigned another duty.

If Smith goes to Smackover,  does that mean we can have Stegall back?  Jones, Hutchison, Stegall, and Thompson....I like it.   :)

No. That's out of the question.

Though you guys had been doing pretty good, why reassign?

Not saying anything until it has been official.

Rida4Life

That job would draw a ton of interest if true.

Sometimes you should be careful what you wish for.

Not as much as it should. A lot of people don't appreciate the finer points of south Arkansas living.

Well-kept secret
I have been here since 2000 so I wish someone would let me in on the secret. 😎

JC Guy

If Smith gets the Smackover job the Bucks will be in shape. Brad was gone watching his boy play baseball leading up to first game last season and the first couple of games I seen JC having some cramping issues.

Proud Buckaroo

Smackover was pretty well in shape last year. Lots of two way starters that played the whole entire game.

I cannot comment on what's true or not because it hasn't been made official yet. Once it has been announced. I can give any detail I know.

But then it wouldn't be well-kept. And Oldman, or his friend Buck Fever, would have to kill you

Could Coach Smith be amazed by and be enjoying certain FF posts???

Jimbo Morphis

Pretty much all coaches read and a few post.

Proud Buckaroo

Every coach reads fearless Friday. They may not post. But, they read it.

Eh, I wouldn't say every coach reads it.  I know a few that still have no idea how to turn on a computer even in today's technology driven society.

From the 03/21/17 EDNT article reviewing the March Junction City School Board meeting:

"The board also approved his (Lowe) recommendation .......to hire Jerry Stegall as an elementary physical education teacher for the 2017-2018 school year."

Qwis looking good in the Tech Spring Game.

One of the feel-good moments of the day came early on when Bulldog fans got their first glimpse of running back Jaqwis Dancy, who has made his return to the field this spring after begin diagnosed of Hodgkin lymphoma in October. The sophomore was deceptive on a run play that was eventual called back due to a penalty, but later in the first half, Dancy had a 24-yard reception on a pass from Price Wilson before halftime.

"It was great to see Jaqwis out here," Holtz said of the return of Dancy to the field. "You got to see a little bit of his elusiveness. I know nobody was happier to be on the field than he was today. With the battle he has fought, he is down about 15 pounds right now, but he is going to gain his weight back and he had the opportunity to get out there and get in a couple plays. We tried not to give him more than two or three plays at a time, but when he has the ball under his arm he has the chance to be really explosive."

That's a pic from last year.

CJ (Carderick Johnson) however did win the 148 class with a total of 500 lbs,  245 bench and 255 powerclean.  CJ also recently set meet and all time school records in track and field in long jump, triple jump, and 200 meter dash

'scuse me, I didn't notice the date change in the twitter thread.

If CJ was competing, I figured it'd be a safe bet he was leading the weight class whatever year it was. :D

Thanks for posting Bleu...pretty proud Dad here.

CJ also broke his previously set 200m All-time record for Junction City, by running a 22.52.  He now hold the All-Time records at Junction City for 200m, Long Jump, Tripple Jump, and most rushing yards in a single game.  His fastest 100m time this season has been 10.83.  I'm not sure what the JC record is.
