Coach Gathen is one of the better coaches in the state.  The year before he got to Osceola the Seminoles won one game.  The next year he had them in the State Quarterfinals and then the next two years he won a state championship.  Two years later he was back in the championship game, where his Seminoles fell to Marcus Monk and EPC.  Coach has been going through some personal problems, even before he left Osceola.  Whenever the man's focus is solely on basketball he is a great coach.
