I thought Guy was a county (counties) school?
Guy is in Faulkner County. There is no Guy County.

Is this the first time that 2 schools named after counties (Izard, Nevada) rather than towns have ever met in a state basketball final?
I think these same two teams played in the 2008 championship.

Guy is in Faulkner County.

He's being sarcastic, because of the way they used to supposedly be

Who is 25 everybody but cooper looks like a starving human

J.D.

Great effort by Nevada!  Coach Mullins really getting the most out his kids.

MR.GOMAB

Cooper 4 quick fouls at the end of the 3rd. Blue Jay's back in it! Wow!

ICC 43
Nevada 39

Start of 4th

TIDE CHANGED QUICK!!

J.D.

Caleb Faulkner has been huge in Cooper's absence

boss85

Cooper lost his composure in the 3rd qtr. I havent seen that by him before. Faulkner should get MVP in my opinion.

Nevada should be back. Young team that missed a ton of easy shots. ICC is 20 points better than every 1a school in the state. Same story next year if nothing changes.

Nevada is a good team but not quite up to ICC. I think this Nevada team could win 1A state in some years.

J.D.

ICC was the best team in 1A all year long and deserve this.

Congratulations to ICC.

Okay. This post needs more recognition because I freaking died when I read it 😂😂😂

Congrats to Nevada on a great year. They're a good team.
They could win it in some years.
20+.. yep
ICC with too many ways to score.. yep
ICC can D  up.. oh yeah.

How bout the job tharp did on #12.

Why is the official stat keeper at the finals so stingy on awarding assists? There's no way Cooper, Everett, and Faulkner combined for only 1 assist. This isn't the first game that's been like this either.

I didn't see every game. Did Justice lose his composure in some other games? Or was your reply about My opinion on the MVP? Either way I still think they are both great players. I just haven't personally seen Cooper get flustered like he did. And I think an argument could be made that without Faulkner having the  strong 2nd half he did Friday night, that Nevada would have finished the comeback and won. Is the MVP awarded for the final game or for the tournament? Because I'd give it to Faulkner for the game, and Cooper for the whole tournament.

Cooper had 16 points, 15 boards, 3 blocks, 2 assists, and 1 steal in the state finals game.

Man the Boo Jays fans checked out kind of early. I bet they didn't enjoy seeing the Image One folks had already started printing Cougar Champ shirts.

42, 25, 14, 5, 4, and 21 were all MVPs all season long. Take one out and we're still left with 5 kids who can get it done.

Can't decide which thread is more fun to go back through, this one, the 42 sports Facebook poll.

He will make a good practice player for a division 1.  He might better stay D2.

RedWolf275

I know Cooper is a junior, but is he a grade behind his age group?

Think he did a grade twice due to health issues

Ask Pine Bluff, NLR, Marion, or Conway about that one. He's also playing for the Woods Elite this summer.
