Har-ber has alot of freshmen that will be playing. there are a couple of bright spots but, we will have to see how good they do.

Sophmores Bailey Lowrey and Emily Guess, Catcher and Pitcher Combo from Arkansas Baptist. Both were staters for there High School Teams last year as Freshmen.

a few names from bryant sides of things:

1. lana naumann - freshman starting varsity in the infield and is doing a reamarkable job at the plate. she has already hit her first homerun and it was a bomb. few others that would have had a chance if they had been up a few more feet.

2. brandi barnes - freshman has started varsity. don't know now that the basketball girls are back. will have to see what happens there. she has plenty of power and can hit for good avg.

3. morgan seelinger - sophomore. lots of speed and has recently started learning to slap. i believe she is playing outfield and doing well.

Meg McGuirt (Bentonville) is either a freshman or sophomore. Great contact hitter. Very fast.

Sophomore Katie Petrino (infielder/pitcher) and freshman Lindsey Davison (catcher) both will contribute for Fayetteville.

Bauxite has an excellent player in Brittany Stephens.  Started last year as a freshman.  She plays 1st, 3rd, can play OF, pitches and catches some.  Good strong bat.  I look for her to make some noise this year as she kept busy playing summer and fall ball and is bound to have improved this year.

Jill Barrett-Sophomore starting SS GW Ladybulldogs all-state as freshmen,she should be the best player in the 5a west this year.

I think Megan Harris out of Beebe should do well as a freshman this year.

i don't know how much she can still pitch with her knee, but megan can hit with the best of them and play multiple positions effectively.
