Not sure why Mountainburg LB James Vanourny is not nominated also. He's got 82 tackles in 8 games.

I'm sure all the coaches listed are good coaches and have turned their programs in the right direction, just don't get how Hazen's Coach Joe Besancon isn't a finalist for this. He's leading the #2 Hornets in Hootens #1 in other polls in 2a. Has won back to back undefeated conference champs in the 6-2a. Is currently the only team to be still undefeated in 2a. Come on man...

Gurdon coach is the front-runner for me in that category.  They had been off the radar in recent years and he has those kids very focused and playing good football.
