Is it legal to start practicing softball or baseball before basketball season is over if the player plays both sports?

It's legal.  You can start practicing early, but most basketball coaches won't be too happy about their players going to baseball practice during the season.

Yeah if i was the coach i wouldn't like the idea of my kid going to play another sport..
