Morrilton Devil Dog quarterback, Toney Hawkins was named 2013 Farm Bureau 5A Offensive Player of the Year, and Coach Cody McNabb was named 5A Coach of the Year. Congratulations to these two fine representatives of Devil Dog Football and of Morrilton!

Cody McNabb is one of the good guys in the business. He deserves the achievements he and his team have earned this season.

Whats Hawkins chances of winning the Landers award?  He has accounted for 49 touchdowns.  29 through the air, and 20 on the ground.  Don't they usually give that to someone in 7A?

Coach DePriest, Sheridan

He's the only one with a state championship, so that may mean something.

7A
Logan Moragne, LR Central
Zach Launius, Cabot
D.J. Brown, LR Catholic
Deion Tidwell, North Little Rock
K.J. Hill, North Little Rock
Juan Day, North Little Rock
6A
Tarek Beaugard, Benton
5A
Toney Hawkins, Morrilton
Tyler Colquitt, Pulaski Academy
4A
Jakahari Howell, Arkadelphia
Kris Oliver, Arkadelphia
Josh Liddell, Pine Bluff Dollarway

Since the split of 6A/7A in 2006, only one 7A player has won it.

Will usually go to whom ever the PA boosters decide, so might be Hawkins since he ran wild on PA. Colquit would have a chance but no sixth year senior has ever won the award.

Congrats to the Morrilton Devil Dogs QB & Head Coach ! I thought Colquit was a 5th year Sr. at PA ? Dang dude got a Gray Shirt while he was there with the Bruins. LOL !
