Yes they used a JV pither in the Monticello game. I don't know if she has ever pitched before but I thought she did a pretty good job. I was at the game and that Monticello team is a good hitting and running team.

Just stating the facts. The win over MC had much less to do with "want to" than with a poorly seeded bracket, sub par officials, and mistakes by the Panthers. What did y'all have, 2 or 3 hits? I gave you credit on the Woodlawn tourney thread. But, don't expect a close game if we meet again.

Just some fans who are passionate about the game. Have pride in their programs. and, believe in their girls.

As for excuses, yea, they are rampant. But the bottom line for my team is that we had the ability to win each of our three loses. For us to be successful in state, we just need to play our game.

Since this is a JC thread, it looks like they are coming together very well. I'm looking forward to some great games down the stretch.

looks like nothin has changed for woodlawn softball.  still a lot of ifs ands and buts.  same mamas and daddys kissn booty so their baby can play.  same questionable play and decision making.  same hypochondriac player having something wrong everytime she has a bad game.  must be a heck of a doctor bill.  most people seem to have accepted the fact that this is the best as its goin g to be at woodlawn for softball.  oh ho things have changed for the lady bears.

Agreed. I don't know all of the issues, but it's clear that there are some differences. It's sad to watch all of the grumblings about coaching when you see a coach that seems to really get into it. To many programs wither away when any old football coach takes over. You can tell the coaches who enjoy softball.

Wow...bitter much?  Keep blasting the coaching, kids, and parents and that will make the girls play better.  You know they read this board as well...

We have played Woodlawn the last few seasons and they got good kids and talent.  They have played well this season and up until recently when "outside influences" got involved, they were playing great softball.

I have all the confidence in the world that they will right the ship.  Just gotta be back on the same page. 

Wait a minute,  I checked this off as a kid being kid & running his head.  Not needing a response.  But when a softball coach comes on here & blames outside influences on what's going on with our team.  I take offense with that.  I never go to practice, but I or my wife never miss game.  And I don't see the outside influence's you speak of.  It's funny that a Glen Rose coach has time to worry about Woodlawn softball.  And yes,  Woodlawn's coach knows who searkhogfan is !!!
