The thing that gets me is this....How can a team who is 0-2 be over a team that is 1-1? when it all boils down to it a Win is a Win, no matter if it was over a lesser opponent than others.

Strength of Schedule actually matters to some people...

Say Team A Beats Hartford and Decatur by pretty good margins...
And Team B Played Greenwood and North Little Rock and lost both on last second field goals....Wouldn't you say Team B should be ranked higher in a poll that makes sense?
