Uncle Ivan

by Dora Harmony Wallace.  It's a chronicle of three generations of an American family.

It comes off as a chick book, but many men have read this novel and recommend it, as do I.

It's also been a selection for many book clubs.

Do yourself a favor and read it.

Something about a Lighthouse, I can't remeber what the biker guy said, lol.

It isn't about onions, per se, like how Watership Down isn't about boats but rabbits instead.

The people are like onions - layered.  Ogres are also like onions, but there are no ogres in this book.
