I see a one score game with both teams in the 20s.

For all the people saying Hazen by a couple scores, are you meaning like 42-28 or 21-7 or what?  Just curious.
Honestly I think it good go either way. Hazens defense is really good so I'm leaning more towards 21-7

I haven't watched Hazen live but based on their scores, they've got a really good team. I know their offense is strong, so I look for them to see the end zone multiple times.
After watching JC' s huge O line and the speed of their backs against Foreman, it would be hard to imagine any 2A team keeping them out of the end zone. Foreman had a defense that held 5 shutouts and never allowed more than 14 points in regular season game and JC's offense ran right through them. One of the dragons press box crew told me that they had over 60 TD drives this year that took less than 1 minute off the clock.
My prediction is that it could go either way but I look for a game ending score in the 50's, possibly both teams exceeding 60 points. Just my opinion.
Good luck to both of these great teams.

The best 2 teams foreman played were j.c. and Earle, one beat them and the other took them to o.t.

Hazen just stroked a mount ida team, and a gurdon team that foreman had problems with.

You may want to look at hazens defensive stats as well. They blanked the 7's 2 and 3.

Dragon I

I think it's (65) TD drives of 60 seconds or less.

Now Pick you said DA was the only team to challenge Hazen, you might want to look at the DA and JC score again.😉😁I think JC would of played MI to about the same tune Hazen did.  Hazen is very good but Junction will give them a game.

Now cuz, your reading comprehension is slipping, has j.c. played hazen YET? No, how could they have challenged them yet? Their challenge is on the horizon.

You might want to reread that post cuz I didn't say that....

whoknows

After seeing JC offensive line in action last night...I don't see JC scoring less than 30...JC defense was weak up the middle...unless that was a defensive scheme to try to keep Batey contained...

Has any team ever been runner up in two different classifications in back to back years or will this be a 1st? 😂😂😂

I was simply stating my opinion and I don't believe it said anything degrading about Hazen. I just think JC will put points on them.
I do tend to disagree with you when you say foreman "had troubles with" MI and Gurdon but that's your opinion. I also know that my conversation with the JC crew around the press box last night yielded that Foreman was a much better team than what they dominated last week.
Anyway, Good luck to the two best teams still playing from the #3 Gators and I'll assume Pick sends his love from gym of the #8 Des Arc team.

We've had teams win championships in back to back years in different classes, so I'm sure it's happened...

Do you honestly believe that the j.c. crew would have said any different while in yalls press box? Geez.

You know what that 3 ranking is? It's an overrated team, has been all season, but it honestly is no better than any other, or does Foreman give out 3rd place trophies? If not, here is you one..🏆

There hasn't been a team to hang 30 on Hazen yet and I don' think believe JC is going to be any different.  Grant it they will probably score but not 30. Hazen D is only giving up 3.75 pts per game in the playoffs while JC is giving up 13.75.

I know what that #3 ranking is, 5 numbers above DA is what it is.

The only outcome to this game I KNOW won't happen is Hazen beating JC by 14 or more.

Both teams proved in the playoffs they are the two best teams in the state, both took care of business on both sides of the ball. Both Offenses scored a lot points on good defenses and both defenses have shut down some really good offenses in the last few weeks.

dragondad

I'm flying today so I don't have full access to my spreadsheet,  but my preliminary redneck cyphering says Hazen 28 - JC 24, that using only the results of playoff games.  Now,  I'm a huge homer,  and knowing JC has the experience at state and has been in this underdog position before...    for now I'm going to transpose the score and go with JC 28 - Hazen 24.  One thing I know,  when the 2 min mark of the 4th qtr hits.... for the sake of your team winning,  you should pray your team has more than a 1 to 5 pt lead or your joy may be short lived.

Don't have a dog in the fight. Happy a 6-2A is in the finals! I do have a question... when was the last time you picked hazen to win a playoff game? You took Gurdon over them.... and now Jc over them....

I do .. I don't care how good your defense is .. junctions offense is legit there O-line is sick nasty .. there is gona be points put on the board .. Mark my words

It don't even make since for y'all too think it will be low scoring .. each team is going out and scoreing 40-50 points a week in the playoffs and people all the sudden think they are gona stop that ?? Defense will still win the ball game because whoever gets a couple stops will win.. but there is nothing too indicate this is going too be low scoring ..

Ok but I still think it will be mid 30 low 40s game .. I guess we will see .. but if u look at the common opponents both scored 30 on hampton ( junctions was early season ) junction scored 55 on DA hazen scored 22 but it was early season and that's a rilvery game both offenses are clicking late .. you just watch the team that wins will put points up..

Old Scrapper

I can see where it's possible to get up in the 30's or 40's, Its just my opinion it won't.

I believe Hazen's D is the difference maker in this game

Dragon I

Hazen won't hold JC below 24.  They may win, but it will be a different game than they are accustomed to playing this season.  It will take at least 30 or so to win.

Don't say they won't bc when they do that may be a hard pill to swallow

Dragon I

They won't.  Fact is Hazen hasn't faced a team as solid as JC this season.  JC will put up points.  Question is can they slow Hazen enough.

Old Scrapper

JC hasn't faced a 2A team as solid as Hazen either!

My mistake. Banana pudding must've had some special spices in it at grandmas house. Can someone from JC explain the Hampton game? From what I've seen it was a pretty even matchup with talent. I watched Hampton at Hazen and they were far less athletic to hang. I'm hoping for a good championship game and the third real test we'll face this year. Let's hope we can respond with adversity.

It's been said DA was your biggest challenge, yet JC blew DA out of the water..... so I'd say, no, you havent faced a team like JC.

Havens 13 opponents average Win / Los :  5 - 6.  Even with the season records of your best opponents,  the average win didnt break the  .500 mark.

Hornet68

The DA team we played and the DA  team y'all played are different animals though too. Hazen was still finding their footing at the time but now appears to be firing on all cylinders. Gonna take hazen in a barn burner #rollswarm

CaptainSwarm25

It's been said by a 6-2A homer (no offence Pick) that DA challenged us the most. However, we breezed past other higher ranked opponents like Gurdon, Hampton, and blanked Mt Ida. Pick said that in the sense that DA played us the closest. You gotta read the fine print in the fine print.
