MB I assume you meant Cross County (spellcheck strikes again). They play their games at the Wynne complex. Go through Cherry Valley toward Wynne and you will see it on the left before you get to Wynne. That is where they played last year.

When you play a one and done tourney things don't always end the way you think. That Bald Knob got beat is a testament to that very statement. They won the second game but if that had been at state, adios. No one can tell how this thing will end.

I do believe she is a Freshman. I have umpired many a games during summer tournaments as she was growing up.  Her dad coached the teams most of the time. They lived in Jonesboro & I guess have now moved to Marmaduke.  She is a good all round player. She will wear out an inside corner. 

I remember one tournament at Trumann she had  3 no hit perfect games in a row at age 11.

But I think it was a smart move.   Big fish little pond or little fish in a big pond -- I think thats how it goes.
There are alot of talented pitchers in summer ball that are starting to hit HS at the same time.  I say go to a smaller school & start that way you don't have to set behind a upper classmen at a big school.

BIC has a good back up that's a 10th grader after that they are in trouble for a few years.

Henry girl from Valley View couldnt get a shot to pitch there so moved to Maramduke. They have some good young players there but when you have 5 errors its not hard to beat anyone in softball!

I would like to see this game. Looks like another good match up. I do think the Lady Stangs will be ready this time.   It was a good wake up call for them last time these 2 met.
