Anybody else fans of his?

He's the former/current lead singer of Caedmon's Call. In my opinion, he is the greatest songwriter of the Christian genre in the past 15 years.

The thing I like most about him is how he relates religion and faith to so many different parts of life without being obnoxious and preachy. I know a lot of atheists and agnostics who love his stuff because his lyrics are so amazing.

He's generated some controversy with his latest album and has been blacklisted by a lot of Christian retail outlets, primarily for one song in which he decries many Christians' intolerance of homosexuality. In this CD, and on his past solo ones, he's also sung about things like politics, adultery, homelessness, and used some "bad words". I ordered the CD today and can't wait to get it.

He's also playing in Kentucky twice this fall, and I plan on going both times.
