I'm sure most of the football coaching positions are locked in now that the season has started, but when do openings for next year start popping up? I'm certified in Special Education and have coached high school for 4 years and professionally for one year. Just interested in when to start looking for positions in Arkansas.
Keep an eye on the AAA website, they post coaching job openings a lot, especially during the spring semester. I would go ahead and submit applications to schools you would be interested in, just so they have you on file.

Not all schools post to these sites when they have an opening but a lot do. Along with these sites I would check local newspapers and go to the schools website for job postings in your area. Some schools only post openings to their own website.

Also check ARFCA website if you are interested in Football Coaching Jobs. ARFCA Coaches Clinic every Feb in Hot Springs is a great place to start also. Also many education jobs are found in Arkansas Democrat.
