Newport got great talent, qb has good arm and reads well. defense not that great tonight, continually stacking box. Young team committed too many penalties. Rivercrest played well, still turning ball over. Off line did well making a hole in that box, backs breaking loose.

Looked up the inadvertent whistle rule and low and behold the officials got it right! I was wrong! The whistle does end the play but the team In possession of the ball when the play began can either accept the result of the play or replay the down! So Newport's two third downs was the correct call! My apologies to the men in stripes!
