You are absolutely correct! Averaging 55 points a game on offense and giving up 12 on defense per game. 10-0 on the season with Barton playing them the closest. 55-36 and Barton is ranked 8th. So i guess your saying that MF should be ranked 7, lol. Hilarious

That is true but kind of misleading. Alot of games this season Langrell is trying not to score in the second half because the games were already out of hand. I was mainly talking about the defense. They are legit. Only had one team score over 18 this year. Noone has ran the ball on them since the Barton game.

I'll give you the score thing, but it does point out Smackover may have had a tougher road to get where they are.

I was in the stands for the Lamar game.  Lamar's double wing was working pretty well.  They just didn't have the quickness to get thru the holes that were there.  It sounds like Mayflower might.

Thats what people say anyway and only 2 teams wasnt mercy ruled. Only 1 team stayed within 20.  I know MF isnt going to roll through the playoffs like that but overated no way.  All you can do is play whos on the schedule.

I saw y'all play earlier this year and I know that you guys are good.  Besides y'all haven't lost a game even though that conference is not all that strong.  What bothers me is the subs have played the 3rd & 4th quarters a lot.  Do you think your starters will have the endurance come crunch time?

They should fine. Only 3 or 4 players(if that many) start on both sides of the ball. Deon only plays offense and on kick returns. Mayflower actually has some depth this year. Huge difference from last season.

Well you might want to watch it again. If #22 doesnt impress you at middle linebacker or #33 at snifferback/safety or #6 at wr then you probably should get your eyes checked. I didnt say they were the best team in 3A. Do they have a chance to win it? Absolutely they do. None of us know for sure until the games are played.

Those kids you just mentioned are all good players. But the level Deon and Keon play on are far above that. Trust me. I'm not taking anything away from any kid. Believe me. Dealing with 42 sports and how involved in it that I am. I do not want any kid to go unmentioned. As an outsider, I am saying that as my opinion.

I'll agree about the 2 guys on the defensive side of the ball for Mayflower. 22 and 33 are both pretty good. But besides that I'm not sure how they're going to do stopping the run. And I'm not sure the WR is as good as you're making him out to be. Hasnt faced an above average corner all year. Mayflower played a super weak schedule (say what you want about Barton being 9-1, but they played the same
Weak conference). I'm ready to see how this game plays out, and see how MF fares playing all 4 quarters for the first time this year

No doubt about that. The twims are on a different level than most players in 3A.   The MF linebackers are pretty good . #13 and #52 were both all conference linebackers last year. These boys havent had many problems stopping the run since they played youth football in the Cayfl against NLR ,Maumelle, Conway, Cabot, and other big teams in LR. In my opinion thats the difference in the quality of players. This is the first class that moved to that league back in 2010. It has nothing to do with this game or season.Just giving the Cayfl some love. Lol

I'm sure we'll at least try this, among other things.  We certainly haven't been the best at stopping the run consistently.  We haven't given up very many big plays, but some teams have been able to drive it down the field with ease at times.

I'm not doubting that Deon and Keon are good. I'm just saying though... Not sure if Mayflower has seen a RB like Da'marous White this year. 6'2" 215 lbs. He's not really quick, but he is definitely hard to bring down. It will most definitely be a fun game to watch. I'm willing to bet Mayflower is planning to run their plays the opposite end of where Da'marous is.

RB, WR or TE. It's not a very good comparison. Never watched Bald Knob film and I got the roster on maxpreps. Not my fault the coaches didn't update it.
