Found the Airedale classic brackets

Teams
Farmington, Fountain Lake, Greenland, Lavaca, West Fork, Scranton, Alma, Gravette

Mostly the same schools, but Fountain Lake is an interesting addition. Not sure we've ever played them in any sport?

Sigh.......

AT

Alma girls lose to Gravette 43-42 in a nailbiter.

The Alma boys trailed the Gravette boys 30-28 at half and ended up winning 80-56. (I think that's called waking up).

Still trying to find out the results of the West Fork-Scranton boys game...

AT

Well I don't know the score, but I know West fork beat Scranton boys.

AT

Alma girls beat West Fork and will play in the 5th place game against Fountain Lake tomorrow.

Alma's boys beat West Fork also and will play in the championship game in a rematch with Farmington.

How did the first matchup go?

Beat them by 3 at Farmington. They jumped out to a lead in the 2nd quarter, Airedales made a run and grabbed the lead going into half and then held off Farmington the rest of the way.

AT

Alma boys do lose the rematch to Farmington in the Airedale Classic championship game.

Alma girls beat Fountain Lake for 5th place.

Both teams will play Little Rock Christian at home on January 5th of the new year.

AT

Alma girls beat LRC girls tonight by a tune of 57-49.

Alma boys lose to LRC boys tonight by a score of 49-54.

These games were at home.

Conference time! First game is at home and it's a 6A game so it's of dire importance! Against Russellville.

Go Postal

Harrison beat Russellville in a close defensive contest last night.  They are very quick and can shoot the 3 if you let them.  Free throws are pretty spot on.  They apply a lot of defensive pressure on full and half court especially to stop you from shooting the 3.  You have to be careful of them stealing your passes because of their quickness.  Harrison seemed to have better luck in the paint if you can penetrate toward the basket.  Good luck, 'Dales.  See you next year with this same young Goblin squad. ;)

Alma's girls beat Mount St. Mary's tonight in a tight one, 31-30, for their first conference win.

The Alma boys are playing right now and are up 32-18 over Little Rock Catholic

Alma's boys also get their first conference win of the year with a 65-37 win over Little Rock Catholic.

Good win for both teams tonight. Good for the Airedalettes and Coach Mann to get his first conference win at Alma.

Good for the Airedales to get off that 4 game losing streak.

This upcoming game on Tuesday against Greenwood is big for both teams. It's looking like Greenwood will be the team that the girls have to beat to get into the playoffs and having them home on Tuesday means that is the time to do it. It's not super likely, but Greenwood's girls are very down this year, so it's possible.

Alma's boys definitely need to win against Greenwood to not be behind the 8 ball when it comes to the playoffs. Heck, Alma's boys still control their destiny for the 1 seed from the 6A Central.

Since it is still early and no team has been eliminated from any position or spot...that statement is technically correct for all of the teams!!!!

Home games against Siloam Springs tonight. Big for both teams.

Girls trying to make their playoff aspirations more attainable with a win.

Boys are still trying to keep the 1 seed realistic and under their control.

What are the official results of these games?  I'm hearing Alma girls by 3 over Siloam, and Siloam boys by 27 over Alma.  Any truth to this?
