Thanksgiving break is over. Time to get to back to work. My beloved Rattlers lost a heartbreaker at JC.  We begin our quest to bring one home in track in both boys and girls.

RATTLER43

Groundgame, they just keep coming out of the woodworks. I have close to 30 kids going out for senior boys! Don't know how many it will be at district when I move up the freshmen who have earned it.

Pole vault, throws, and distance runners aplenty!  Got to get it going to determine depth chart. Only two per event at most invitationals makes it tough if you are not top two in depth chart but sures keeps 'em working hard to get into the top two.

Any chance of y'all starting a new thread so this one will quit popping up on the unread replies of every poster who ever replied?

RATTLER43

Yes. Not sure all will move to the new one but will try.

RATTLER43

Will keep checking in on this one until New Years Day.

Anyone seen results from the Indoor meet at ASU this weekend?

kman34

Yeah they are on directathletics. There were some pretty good times for the first meet of the year!

Are the dates out for the indoor meets yet?

Yes. They are at the ATCA site. Feb 4th and 24th I think.

Nashville and Heber are always favorites to win 4A, but Ashdown has some great potential this year. Our Sprinters are great, and we have a hurdler who had a time of 41.89 last year whose only going to get better his Senior Year. Us mid-distance runners werent the best last year, so we've been running since Late November in Player-Conducted workouts. For Throwers, Nayland Sanders will be our best. All in all Ashdown Might not be the best but we always Show Up and Compete!!

RATTLER43

What are your specific events?

RATTLER43

On a special positive note:  my #1 distance runner has been offered by nearly every university in the state and one out of state. She has everything paid for wherever she decides to run. I am so proud and happy for her. She has worked hard to get it. Great Christmas gift for her as a few of the offers came in this week.

Bumped it to get it to page one so I could easily access it on my phone.

Too funny.
