Since 2014 Springdale Central has only lost 2 games. They lost 1 in 2014 and 1 in 2017. Arguably the best junior high program in the state.

Thank you for posting these.... I have always thought it would be great to keep up with the JH standings for every conference in the state too, but that would be hard work and its understandable to not.

Doesn't the NWA Conference have divisions?

hogfan15

From what I understand they dont have set divisions.    Schools will play the other schools from there towns, and then they will draw out of a hat the rest of the schedule.    And then at the end of the season the top 2 teams will play for the championship.
For Instance Central got both Bentonville teams on the road and dont have a Fayetteville team on the schedule.

Looks like barring any big upsets, the Bentonville vs Purple game on Monday will decide who gets to play Springdale Central in the championship.
Central beat Bentonville in OT in Week 2 so whoever it is should be a good game

Thanks. I believe this will be Central's 5th trip in 6 years to the championship game and they have won it every time they have played for the championship. I think 2017 is the only time they didn't go and BV won it that year. I heard this year's regular season game between Central and BV was another great one in a long line of great games.

hogfan15

Looks like Bentonville won big over Purple last night.   So it is pointing toward Springdale Central and Bentonville in the Championship game.

I havent seen the updated standings.    I will try to get them.
I do know that it will be Springdale Central and Bentonville playing for the Championship next Monday at Har-Ber.

Central won the 1st meeting in overtime.   And they were without there stud running back.
But it still should be a good game

Those 2 teams have owned the conference for the past decade. Both have great coaches, coaching staffs and always get maximum effort out of their teams. There have been some epic battles over the years between them.

Central's RB is a stud. His dad was a helluva a RB  for SHS on their 89 state championship team.

Should be another great game between these 2 for the conference championship!

Central won the championship last night 17-14.  They won on a 42 yard field goal as time ran out.
It was a heckuva game.

I heard it was another classic in the series! That makes it 5 out of the last 6 for Central and the time they didn't win conference was in 2017 when BV won.

Since 2014 Central has only lost 3 games.
