It's high school football. A big slow 360 pounder who has started for three years on a state championship team only has to knock that 250 pounder back 3 yards, he doesn't have to beat him in the 40. My point was that some posters seemed to think that the line from Dumas is huge, they are not.

I know  right and the same player did a great job in the semifinals against  the Owls smaller 200 +  nose guard, matter of fact that 360 lb slow player anchored the 2017 3A State champions offensive line. 🤣🤣💯

Colts will be bigger up front. Not as big as Central but probably move better. Colts are definitely a good football team. Defense will determine this one.

Their receivers are tall, the back they have is big. The offensive line is smaller than RC.

Their top receiver is only 5'8", they do have a couple of 6'4" guys but never seem to throw to one of them. The backs are 175 and 200, respectable but not big. The Colts have faced bigger. I'm beginning to think this size thing for dumas is just not there. Colts have faced bigger in every position so the question should be...have the Colts faced better?
My thought
S are they have faced better and bigger lines, better backs, but maybe not a qb of this caliber.

Wow first Osceola recruits two of our state champion players one that is definitely leading the offense the other on defense now they try and give Dumas a scouting/injury report on the Colts so they can prepare for whoever.   The Noles fans won't be happy until they beat Crest again and win State which they claimed all last season but Crest snatched it. SMH.  Oh I really can care less who get mad. 😡

Rivercrest lost their running back last year in week 10. Brown pulled them through the playoffs into the championship game, with a little help from the back up running back. The Colts have a fine young man now in place at running back averaging 5.8 yards a carry and a fullback averaging 9 yards a carry. Will the path be more difficult? Yes, it will. The safety net is gone but this is all going to come back to coaching. The talent is there but the days of playing conservative for the first half are over if the Colts want to win.

It's weird that people think that we have such great athletes. It's not like we have any better players than anywhere else in the state. Also is the only criteria that constitutes a good team is State Championships? If so than Robinson should just stop playing altogether and shut down the program.
