Watson Chapel will take on the Billies in Monticello Friday night. Playing against Monticello on their home field is never easy but if the Wildcats don't turn the ball over and make silly mistakes, I believe they'll get their first win of the season. This is the Billies season opener. Thoughts??

Bump (just to see if this thread gets any replies).

I'm sure WC got their mistakes corrected from the Nashville game. I do agree it is hard to play the Billies on their turf but if WC starts off quick and doesn't concede any mistakes, I can see them running away with it.

I say WC by at least 2 TDs

The key to beat Monticello in the years to come, granted this guy stays, will be good defense and ball control. Running 90 miles an hour and turning the ball over on downs or going 3 and out will kill a defense especially if it is a good ball team on the other side of the field.

Big night?  That's a huge night!

AirWarren

Better have a good defense with hurry up no huddle.

Great stats for Cooper! Must have had a new OL.

Absolut

I don't know about a new OL, but it helps to have a RB that doesn't fumble every other carry.

No doubt. Turnovers cost the cats their first game to Nashville.

True, what did Curry do?

Absolut

I'm a little concerned about Curry. From what I heard he threw 1 touchdown, but had 2 picks. I don't know if he was seriously injured, but he didn't play for the 2nd half.

Hmm I would be concerned to, he missed the last drive against Nashville due to a injury...hope he's not to banged up.
