4-A Pottsville will be playing 6A Russellville at Cyclone Stadium, first meeting of these 2 teams. Both teams rolled defending 5A Champs Morrilton, Russellville 42-21 and Pottsville 43-13. I guess you can call this one The Battle of Pope County, input on how you see this game going and who to watch on the field.

Russellville has played like an average 5A Football Team, since Cody McNabb left to coach Morrilton. Probably the best time, in history, for Pottsville to play them.  Should be a good match.

I'm thinking it should be a good game as long as Pottsville plays their game, controls the clocks and keeps turnovers and penalties down. Should be a one score game if Pottsville matches score for score.

You must be going back to pre 2002, the team pages don't go back to the leather helmet days which is the last time Pottsville fielded a team prior to 21 st century.
