Well, the best explanation I can give you is that there are new safeguards all across the internet every day to protect copyrighted material.  I'm just assuming that whatever pictures you are trying to post, are hotlinked to another sight.  What you need to do to post a picture, and not get the red x, has something to do with downloading the picture to your hard drive, then uploading it here.

If I could walk you through those steps I would, but as it is here is the limit of what I can walk you through on a computer:

1.  Push button on the computer to start the computer.

2.  Push the button on the monitor so that you can see if it is coming on.

After that, you are on your own.  Good luck.
