To win, and win consistently, in the SEC you must have depth, perseverance and most of all stamina.  As we welcomed aTm and Missouri to the conference this weekend, this truth was never more evident.

What aTm and Missouri found out was that early emotion and playing on adrenaline will not get you through the grind of this league.  Both the Aggies and the Tigers came out sky high before hitting a wall against two seasoned SEC veterans that have seen this emotional sprint to many times.

Most out of conference SEC games place a big target on our backs.  The Aggies and Tigers must come to understand that the key to success in this league is weathering the storms and having little to no drop off when the "second teamers" take the field.  When the second half rolled around, neither of the new teams could keep up with the pace (particularly the skill level of the rotations) and fell flat on their faces.

Arkansas will rebound from an embarrassing loss and Mizzou and aTm will have severe growing pains as the physical, fast play of this league beats them down in a long tough season.

Outsiders truly don't understand or appreciate what it takes to play a season in this league.

Go SEC!
