any V.B. players want to give an update of how things are going?
I'd kinda like to hear from some too lpc, I am sure coach hill and those guys are putting in lots of time and effort.

They're probably all practicing/playing baseball/basketball. ;D :-\
I think that the baseball team practices 5 days a week... It will be interesting to see how that's going to play out with Hill when 7 on 7 starts up.
It's funny to me... all of the parents' of all these "pro-bowlers" talk all kinds of guff during the season. But here it is "off-season" and there isn't one to be seen. It kind of makes one wonder... Could these kids at VB be pampered... Could they be Coddled? :-X Surely not? Not at VB. Surely all of these "future NFL kids" aren't trying to get out of the off-season Football program? NO.... IT CAN'T BE! THEY JUST LOVE BASKETBALL AND BASEBALL! :-*
A question for all the "die-hards"... Who is projected to be the Pointers' starting QB :-[ Who is projected to be the starting WR's? Better yet, Do these kids play basketball and/or baseball ???
And by the way, HOW'S THAT BASKETBALL TEAM DOING THESE DAYS? IS THIS NOT THE THIRD YEAR TO HAVE A LOSING RECORD. Maybe the AD will fire the coach after this year!!! OH-YA!!! They're the same person! He'll probably give himself a raise since his kid has shot all those 3's this year! :-\
We here at Van Buren have been practicing alot and there is a new found feeling of pride in the program. With Coach Hill here we have increased our numbers and all of us players really like the system on both sides of the ball that the coaches are puttin in. The coaches are adament about the fact that there are no starters yet and there wont be any until theyve had a chance to see us on the field. And yes we do have several players that play basketball and baseball but they are there every morning at like 6:45 or 7:00 gettin there lifting and running in. And Rabid Pointer if you knew anything about Van Buren athletics then you wouldnt be talking about the basketball teams record because as of right know they are in a race for a playoff spot in the 5A west. All the teams that they lost to were very strong teams and could probably beat most teams in the 5A. However your to busy complaining about the AD and everybody else in the Athletic Department that you dont see the good that is happening in Van Buren. You dont deserve the Pointer in your name.

You lose all credibility when you attack and question Randy Loyds coaching ability. He is and has been one of the most respected basketball coaches in the state. How long do you think it would take him to land any high school basketball job opening in the state? If you were as well thought of at what you do as he is coaching basktball you would not have time to sit around on this computer and complain.
Take you and your kids and move to chester.
