Yes, this is true, moved to Saturday.
lots of ticked off people in Crossett. Apparently the school was. It notified and the team and all the parents drove all the way up there for nothing. AAA did a pee poor job notifying people.

Should they have cancelled the games BEFORE the rain?
No but they should have made an effort to contact once they knew the games were to be cancelled.
AAA is a joke, they should have been able to look at the fields early enough and decide what to do. All they care about is the money!

It's seems as if the same thing happened this morning Pine Bluff. 3 umpires showed and 2 teams. No one notified that games were cancelled.

Seems that part of that blame on both sides would go on the host schools as well....after all that's part of hosting a tournament...

Thats what i was thinking too. AAA would not be the entity responsible for contact. The host school's tournament director, admins and coaches should handle that.
