Dollarway blew a 30 to 8 lead in the second half to hold on to a 38-36 Victory. Dollarway called the dogs off to early and ended up holding on to win the game

Forrest City is not a team to toy with.  While they are undisciplined and often fold when they get behind, they always appear to have the offensive talent to score fast.  They have had the talent to compete at a high level for many years but the coaches can't seem to create a culture that produces consistant results.

I agree Forrest City has a lot of team speed and good size

Should be a good game! Dollarway has plenty of size, talent, and tradition.

Lionheart88

Probably a good game, but the outcome isn't in doubt.  CF wins this one.

This should be interesting...Dollarway is big up front and will run right at us. We will have to be more physical than we have in the 1st 2 games. Kimonte Wilson made a difference on defense last Friday night. If we can win on 1st down we should be fine.

that1guy2110

CF will have to make plays on 3rd down. Had Hamburg in long yardage a few times and gave up a big play. looked better than week 1 but not there yet. Field position is killing them that's been the biggest difference imo. put the D in a few bad situations and the d stepped up

CF

This is gonna be a tight game.  The way the defense has been playing along with the SIZE of dollarway it's going to be tough.  Still have CF squeezing it out

Youngsta71701

I would feel a whole lot better about this game and the season if BK was the QB...

in my opinion and I have no inside knowledge, BK and family think his best interests for the future are at corner. playing both ways all game would wear him down. just an opinion

And of course, that matters more than the coach's opinion or what's best for the team. ::)

+1, There have been a lot of players play QB in high school knowing they wouldn't play that position in college. They wanted to win and do what was best for the team. If they knew they were the best option at that position for that team they played it. A lot of high school quarterbacks end up playing wide receiver, running back, safety, cornerback, and even tight end in college but that doesn't stop them from playing QB in high school if it was gonna help them and their team win.

Just sayin...

DWayAlumn2002

Josh Liddell did that for us last year. He was the best option we had at QB but everyone knew he was gonna play safety at the next level. He could have said no to playing QB but he put the team first and it turned out pretty good for Him and the Cardinals.

I didn't say he was right or wrong. I just said what I thought. Why are they not entitled to do what they want to do? Coaches make decisions every day to better themselves. Players can't?

that1guy2110

Which one is he? I went down to the Hamburg game and I didn't notice any super standouts at corner? In my opinion he would probably have a better chance to showcase his athleticism at QB. Also, wouldn't most colleges want to know if he is a team player and is going to play the position that's best for the team?

that1guy2110

and my prediction 28-14 Cards of Camden

Oh, absolutely.  Ouachita Baptist signed 5 high school QBs in their latest recruiting class.  Only one is playing QB at OBU.  The others are TE, FB, DB, etc.

CF

Well take away the 6 turnovers in the first half and CF should've won by 2 or maybe 3 touchdowns.   Defense got extremely tired from being on the field the whole first half.  Hopefully the ejection of #3 doesn't hurt us next week.

Gotta love an ugly win. 8 TO's, 26 penalties, an ejection (although not deserving) between two ranked teams? I think both teams are better than they showed last night. Lets hope so.

Dollarway had 5 starters out and had 5 turn overs and still had a chance to at least  tie the game with 56 seconds left before fumbling on the 6 yard line...
