It's a great show to see a game in 20 minutes and Lunney has some good thoughts on the high school game.  It showed that Fayetteville is a very good football team..

You realize he does NO prep for that show, he watches what we see on a monitor and comments.. I can't believe he remembers half the names he does on the fly. and our numbers are hard to read this year.

Does he even know all of his players?

He does, you would be shocked.

that would be impressive.  My high school class had 502 students and our coach always said, "who is #56" when we were watching film.  Usually had something to do with me holding....BHS has at least 1/3 as many kids on the sidelines as we had at Southside back in the old days

LOL- I know how you felt!  Couple of problems are the new guys don't get there numbers until right before the season and many of the players have practice jersey numbers that don't match their Game jersey numbers.. I believe TW's practice number is 22 and Game number is 29...  got to get confusing..

You guys have got to be kidding me. It's not like the players on the field have just stepped out there. They have been starters for two or three years. Scrubs, I understand but starters, no.

Can someone please give the coach a bennie roster when they are filming this.

I may start doing something like that, or have him watch it at least once before we record his comments. Usually we set up and he runs in from practice to do it when he has time, that's part of the reason John is there, to help him out with stuff like that. There are so many kids that come through in any coach's lifetime, I'm surprised that he remembers them as well as he does.

We are talking about current players correct? Does bennie have a "bennie Classic channel" where you are doing great games from the past and he would have to remember those players also?

I would guess bennie played less than 30 different players that night. The same ones that have been playing all year long. I didn't see any second or third teamers out there. That I would understand.

Good luck with the counting, it's almost impossible with the way Bentonville subs so many players in and out of the game..,,  he sneaks players into the game all of the time and unless it's your kid or are really paying attention you would never know..

It's obvious that Bentonville needs to split, too many players.  ;D  That, and you need all 16 teams in the payoffs so you will have something to do.

I was called worse than a scrub...look at it again, he just paused to see the number and asked if was the kid.  It is not like he did not know who it was.  Jeesh!

Southside had over 100 players who I played and it was never an issue knowing players.

I think it would be much more shocking if a coach didn't know each player than if he did.

Hey, I don't know how old Barry is, but I'm in my mid 50's and have Sr moments all the time, haha.

And y'all thought he was moving to Kansas City!!!  8)

Can anyone else figure out which side Billy is arguing for? Still say its self serving. Just wait until basketball. We will be just as obnoxious.
