Thoughts on this regional? What teams make it to state and who wins the regional?
I see Woodlawn, Taylor, Ouachita, and Bradley making it out of this region. Not too familiar with Hampton, but Bradley has an ace in the Mills kid that shut out Taylor a couple weeks ago. Hard to see Hampton having many scoring opportunities.
Gotta pick Woodlawn to win it until someone else proves they're in the same league as the Bears. Nevada, Ouachita, and Taylor will all have their aces ready to go I'm sure, but it will take an extraordinary performance to slow down Woodlawn.
Is the Rhodes kid from Nevada as good as I've heard some guys say? I've heard he's lower 80s, and Bradley's Mills can absolutely take over a game

Woodlawn defeats Taylor 8-5 to win the regional.
very good conference final game between woodlawn and taylor. the pitching in region 5 is probably the best in the state. woodlawn has a few studs, taylor has 2 great arms, and bradley's has 1 kid that can control a game also. looking forward to see how the state tourney plays out.
