Fountain Lake at Bauxite

Fountain Lake looks to maintain momentum after defeating Arkadelphia on the final play a week ago. Bauxite continues to gain experience and celebrates homecoming tonight at The Pit.

Tonight's broadcast will be featured on 92.9 KVRE FM out of Hot Springs Village and will be live streamed (audio only) on www.KVRE.com. Pregame begins at 6:40 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. kickoff.

I feel sorry for bauxite they got lumped with people that makes it hard for them to thrive but someone has to be at the bottom

At the start of the season, this game looked like it could be a toss up with both teams being so young.  FL seems to be turning the corner with a big win over Arkie. Plus their D has played really well in a couple of games and seems to be gritty. Bauxite has not turned the corner, however. The Miners D has given up a total of 321 points, an average 54 pts a game, which is the most of all classifications. The O is not any better and are averaging just 12 pts a game and they have yet to play Joe T or Nashville. Bottom line, FL is getting better and Bauxite isn't. FL wins 42-16.
