Don't know anything about Lincoln but they hung 59 on Prairie Grove tonight. Predictions?

Lincoln @ Hamburg 3 seeds with Identical records.
Hamburg has the advantage being at HOME.
Lincoln might have the longest road trip in the STATE Friday too......................................
Hamburg though, best not take the Wolves Lightly.
The Wolves average 144.9 yards in the air per game.
Rush for 153.1 yards per game.
Averaging 298 yards of offense per game in the 14A with the Likes of Pea Ridge, Prairie Grove and Shiloh ain't too Shabby!
Wolves Leading Tackler is Drain averages 11.6 tackles per game and has 8 TFL's so far.
Team recorded 8 sacks this season too, Drain did not record an official sack so they spread the wealth around defensively!
Will dissect Hamburg Numbers later when time permits.
Point is the Lions cannot falter offensively or defensively during this game!!

Absolutely a great first round matchup. If the QB for Lincoln plays anything like he did last night Lincolns got a shot in this even traveling down there....

Who will the winner of this game have to play next? Just curious.

Ok did the Lincoln numbers previous now looking at Hamburg:
They have Rushed for an Average of 151.2 per game & Passed for 161.1
So the Lion Offense averages 312.3 Yards Per Game.
But thru week 7 which INCLUDES Helena/West Helena they were going at it for 178.6 Running, 189.9 Passing and 368.4 Overall!
Since HWH it's dropped a bit albeit Crossett (week 8 ) played arguably their best game of the season and then the Lions went to Warren and Hosted Dumas (#1 & #2 in the 84A) through those three(3) games Hamburg dropped to 87.3 running, 94.0 passing and 181.3 overall offense per game, worst being against DUMAS (78 Rush/25 Pass/103OA)
Point is Hamburg needs to get Healthy quickly on offense, the defense is solid and the game is in Hamburg so that works to Hamburg's Advantage.
Will break down the defenses of both in the not too distant future!

Congratulations Lincoln, you got the 3 seed in a tough conference! Here's what you've won, a 5 hour drive to Hamburg. And should you win that game, you'll be rewarded with a likely second round matchup with Joe T. Robinson! ;D

Lincoln offensive stat leaders.
QB Caleb Lloyd 133 of 234 pass attempts, 1727 yards. 18 TDs 6 ints. 71 carries 464 yards 10 TDs.
WR Sterling Morphis 42 catches 619 yards.
The 3 RBs that rotate all have over 400 yards rushing as well. Starting with Cam Brown, Christian Crittenden and Christian Sellers

whippersnapper

Top 3 leading tacklers for the wolves are LB Christian Crittenden with 97 total tackles (74 solo 23 assist), Lb Bradley Drain with 100 tackles (59 solo 41 assist) then strong safety hunter Phelan with 77 tackles (54 solo 23 assist). Phelan was an all conf lb last year for the wolves. I anticipate all 3 would earn that honor this year. Also all 3 are seniors

The Lions win this one hands down.

Just drove by a broken-down Lincoln bus outside Ozark on I40 EB.

Safe travels.

Haha yep thats the 2nd bus of the trip already. The 1st bus had a window bust out as the team was getting on 49 from Fayetteville MLK. Then this one. Now heading south in a yellow school bus from a near by school.

Prayers for Safe travels for Lincoln! GEES  ???

This is one of the more interesting match ups of the 1st round, I feel like this game will answer some questions surrounding the strength of their conferences respectively.

Hamburg's usual starting qb didn't play at all tonight so they were basically one dimensional. No doubt Lincoln has a good team though. Gave the Lions fits all game.

whippersnapper

That was a tough one for the wolves. Just nothing could seem to go their way today once the sun rise happened. between the 2 bus mishaps and the power outage. Just wasnt our night. The lion LOS scrimmage play was arguably the best we had seen all year. Not only was the hamburg QB out but a couple guys were in jeans and jerseys on the sideline. Good luck next week.

RZback

8-3 year for the wolves.  best in a while.
