Yeah he played, don't know how many he had. Sophomore Taylor Layne had 29 and had two 4 point plays. Watson had 10ish.

NEArkie

....I think he only had 3 points.(page)

Sounds like Bay got there revenge tonight. I was at the game in Marmaduke, and it was a good one with 'duke being the better team that night - played a great game.  Hate I missed it, but after Bay traveled to and beat beat County Line and Emeson, I would say look out 1a.
Marmaduke and Bay are my favorite teams to watch with a lot of tradition in those small towns.

How did Crain do?  May be the best big in 1a - don't know the teams down south.

The Hero of the night was "Z" - exchange student from Guangzhou China playing for Bay. He scored his first and only point on a free throw tonight  I saw the video from his host family and - .... Wow that is what high school sports are about.

ICC might have already won conf. I know they've already beaten Norfork twice.

Izard County Boys (7-0) are 2 games up on Norfork (4-2) on the loss side and need one more conf. win or a loss by Norfork to clinch top seed in district tournament and at least a co-conference championship.  The Cougars play Mammoth Spring at home on Dec. 19, Viola at home on Jan. 23, and Calico Rock on the road on Jan. 27.  Norfork plays at Calico Rock on Jan. 9, Viola at home on Jan. 13, at Mammoth Spring on Jan. 16, and Hillcrest at home on Jan. 23.

Izard County Girls are tied with Norfork(5-1) on loss side at 6-1 and Viola is now 4-2.  Izard County holds the tiebreaker edge on Norfork by winning at Norfork by more than 10 (31 points) and their loss was early in year at home to Norfork by 9.  Viola is still in the race with both Izard County and Norfork left to play on the road.  Izard County has won its last six conference games (@Mammoth Spring and @Norfork, Hillcrest twice, Calico Rock at home, and @ Viola) by 30 plus and won by 35 tonight with their two leading scorers (Cooper and Jones) in foul trouble for much of the game. Freshman Jen King had 19, and sophomores Everett and Caraway had 12 and 11 respectively. They also have beaten Valley Springs by 4 and Jasper by 35 at home during this stretch. The Lady Cougars are playing much better as of late.
