Lavaca and Danville bring some strength back to the 4-2A.... if Hector would not have bounced to the 5-2A that would have been a decent conference again with those 3.

Apparently they and some other 2a football schools like strong will be playing 1A basketball

Ahhhh, I didn't look there lol...I guess since we merged with Holly Grove, our numbers are too much for 1A now.

Yea quite a few of 2a football are 1A bball

Honestly, i'm glad to see them allowing that now.  I never really thought it was fair for smaller schools to be forced to play 2a just because they want to offer football.

Yeah I think Augusta & Rector both got moved down to play 1A basketball.
