Predictions anyone?
Here are mine for the BOYS first round:
Bald Knob vs. Glen Rose--Tossup, but I lean slightly toward BK
Mayflower vs. Barton--Relatively easy win for the Bears
Bismark vs. Tuckerman--If Tuckerman shows up, they'll be playing the cheerleaders by the 4th quarter.
Episcopal vs. Harding Academy--Wildcats win! LOL. Should be a solid win for HA, but they have underperformed at times this year, which could open the door to an upset.
All indications are that District 5 is the weakest one. District 2 has a good chance for a sweep.
As to the regional championship, Tuckerman is the likely winner. However, Harding has played them tough twice this year and it is hard to beat a good team three times in a row.
I'll leave the predictions on the girls' tourney to people who follow girls' basketball more closely.
District 5 definitely the weakest, should be a sweep for 2 in boys.

I guess 3a-5 didn't get swept. Glen Rose pulled out a win last night.
I guess BK wasn't as good as I thought although they played us(Jessieville) tough in both our games.

Tuckerman won both previous meetings, but not without being challenged. Won by 5 at Tuckerman and had to go to overtime to get the W in Searcy. And it's hard to beat a good team three times in a row.

Wow! That's great! Wildcats finally find a formula for knocking off the Bulldogs. It was a long time coming. Should also give them a better seed at state. Now they just need to get their revenge against Barton for the loss in the District Tourney.
