HAhahahahahaha Because they won a scrimmage with a 3A school who probably was playing their 2nd and 3rd stringers? I don't think so

There are no second or third string players.  Only have around 25 players.

You honestly think that they didnt play their first string? Barton played the entire first string for 3 1/2 quarters.  They have some good backs but the QB needs some work.

How do you know they did play them? Even if you have 25 players there is a back up plan for 2nd and 3rd string. They may be the starting tailback but if the qb goes down, they are now the qb.

Where did you come from?  What scrimmage game have you ever been to where the 2nd or 3rd string started a game? You put your 1st string to see what you have and what you need to work on.  2nd and 3rd string is just play time to get a little experience.

So you beat a team with 25 players and you think a team with 22 linemen are worried?

Lots of teams don't play their starters in a scrimmage. Heck a few years ago warren didn't even dress out their starting qb for a scrimmage. Just because someone started a scrimmage doesn't mean they are going to be the STARTER. I know Dewitt did that though

Proud Buckaroo

Smackover played a scrimmage with 51 kids and split their team in two. 2nd string had their own team, and first string had their own team.

Bingo, Stuttgart did the same thing last and this year. Some starters are playing with some 2nd or 3rd stringers.

Yes!  After halftime Barton started to mix in some starters and non starters!  But when you have only 25 players who else are you going to play?  With 51 kids you have the luxury of not putting in your starters.  With low numbers at Barton and DeWitt there is no other alternative!

Think of it like this, when you only have a minimal number of players, why would you risk getting them hurt in a game that means nothing?

I wouldn't use the word worried, I'd just say Dewitt got the Ricebirds attention with their performance last night. They won't be taking Dewitt lightly now.

I am not sure. Only Stuttgart has been successful in doing this. Which is one of the many reasons why Sugartown is better.

Dragons are for real!!! Stuttgart should be afraid, very afraid. Stuttgarts best two players abandoned a sinking ship and went where they knew they could win their senior year, DEWITT!!!! Add those two to an already talented team and a couple of new coaches that know what they are doing and Dewitt will steamroll through the non conference schedule.

No idea where they're playing for DeWitt, but for Stuttgart one was on the DL, the other would've been a backup RB this year.

ya'll have got to lay off my Dragons. And Rush the best way to talk is on the Field and that is coming soon. If they have improved we will see. I truly hope so. It's been a long time coming and when and IF it ever happens then we can blow smoke. For one year anyway. But the best thing to do at this time is keep mouth shut and keep working hard.
