The type of offense FL runs def helps his stats but Parker Ross has good size, quick feet, and will definitely fight for extra yards... not scared to take /make a hit.

He played most of the season with a partially torn ACL and completely tore it in basketball season. Despite that he still ran for 1239 yards and 12 TDs. He had surgery in January and has fully recovered.

I thought he would be pretty good. He has turned out to be that. I didn't post highlights of him outrunning a 4' 10" 8th grader.

Now who would do that?  :)

I'm going to be honest... I've been guilty of it before. BUT. Just because a kid was really good in JR high. Doesn't really translate to him still being good in SR high. I'm NOT saying he won't be. Do not twist my words. I'm just saying.

CURLEYWOLF24

If he wants to see the football this year, he will have to move to WR in that pass happy  offense they will be running this year with their new coach.

he ran pretty good as a 9th grader against CAC in the final game of the year and if I'm not mistaken he started over the transfer to dewitt

I assume he's talking about Hopkins in the Nashville offense with their new coach.

I'd be shocked if Nashville isn't balanced on offense.

Could be this year with Snell at QB, soon as they get someone who can sling it around it will be just like watching Henderson State!

That'd be fine with me as long as it works.

Dennis Daniels from Warren will be good.  Wasn't able to show much behind Cox this past season, but he's talented.  Line play may be an issue, but if our line is adequate and Dennis is healthy, he should have a good year.

Stuttgart is supposed to have a good offensive line this year, which is what this kid needs. If you watch the highlights he almost never had contact. He'll get contact this year.

Coleman, Meadows and Dozier are gonna be tuff at Lonoke this year with their new offense

Three good players for sure. Always thought the Jackrabbits field good talent on both sides of the ball. What kind of offense this year ?

In college you can recruit players that fit your system. If you have a  record setting QB like Rogers and a record setting WR like Davis then heck yeah your are going to throw the ball a lot. Volvarich is no fool, he understands the high school game. He also understands that Snell, Hopkins, and Grundy are his best skill players. Running the football is what they do best.

;D  lol  So true

I've seen a lot of junior high kids move up, and, as sophomores they always say the same thing:  "These high school guys are a lot bigger, stronger and faster."

This is very true I know a guy very well that had close to 50 TD runs in JR high(7 in one game).  Name all over the local paper each week.  Players around him moved off and dropped out of school and three coaching changes.  Had a grand total of 1 high school TD.

Whatever happened to the kid from Malvern that they were making the big deal about him dominating the pee wee league so they limited his touches...guess that's been 4 or 5 years ago now

I think his last name was Jimerson. I wonder the same thing.

According to Hooten's, there's a Sophomore QB named Jimmerson at Malvern.

That's him, Demias Jimerson. He will be a 10th grader this year. Here are his 9th grade highlights

A sophomore runningback can do well if he's part of a well-balanced offense and runs behind a good line. Otherwise, good luck.

We Are Shiloh

According to St Maximus there is a kid at Shiloh who WILL BE the top back in the conference this year.  No one is even talking about him.  6'1" 210 lbs, runs a 4.5...  super athletic kid... keep an eye out for him.
