Saw this on the 3A board and it looked like it would be interesting to see on here. Post your team's 10 game schedule and who you think they will win and lose to. Thanks!

PRAIRIE GROVE:

@Farmington- nail biter loss (0-1)
@Charleston- nail biter win (1-1)
@West Fork- mercy rule W (2-1)
@Huntsville- comfortable win (3-1)
Gravette- comfortable win (4-1)
Shiloh Chrstian- nail biter loss (4-2)
@Pea Ridge- close win (5-2)
Gentry- mercy rule W (6-2)
@Berryville- mercy rule W (7-2)
Lincoln-mercy rule W (8-2)

The magazine has PG #6 in 4A and 1st in the conference but I just don't see it. I think 3rd in conference is just as likely as winning the conference. I think a 2nd round exit is likely again. The decently recruited TE will anchor the run game for the sweep that Abshier likes to run on the outside and the RB doesn't have much speed but will be the hardest back to tackle in the conference. He is a big kid and not afraid of contact. The line play and along with the RB/FB combo should keep the chains moving and ball control for another solid season in PG.

Warren's too early to tell. I'll decide after the scrimmage ha.

Our matchup with Lonoke has been a good one over the years. Look for another good game this year. Star City by 14.
We won't have any problems at Lake Village, Murcy rule maybe by half. Dogs by 35.
Win by 21 over Mills.
Win by a comfortable margin at Monticello.
We beat Warren in a close one.
We win a close one at Hamburg.
We won't have any problems over Dumas.
Could be a close one at Dollarway but I think we find a way.
We'll have a comfortable win over Dewitt.
Crossett could be close but we pull away late.
All of this is good to predict and stuff, but it's still just too early to say for sure though!
Although I really believe they are in for what could be a special season, nothing is for sure!

I think that the pr game would be more of a comfortable win than the Gravette that will be closer than you think IMO
did the big kid have problems with his shoulder? Rumor has it he tore something in a shoulder and needed surgery?

You think Newport will be better than last year?

TIGER101

PG vs Farmington      PG win -  After handing Farmington a win last year due to a dropped INT in the final minuets, PG will take care of business this year.
PG vs Charleston       PG win - I don't really know to much about this years Charleston team.  Just going with my favorite on this one.
PG vs West Fork        PG win - West Fork has been the least physical teams I have seen the past 4 years.  PG to big and strong.
PG vs Huntsville        PG win - I am getting tired of saying Huntsville should be better this year, over and over again.  NOT HAPPENING!!
Gravette vs PG         PG win -  This will be the game where PG might be tested the most.  The loss of RB from last year, will be to much to overcome.
PG vs $hiloh            PG win -  Again. $$$ lost to much talent off last years team.  They won't be as good as last year and PG will be better than last year.
Pea Ridge vs PG       PG win -  Pea Ridge lost way to much from last years team.  Even with talent coming up they still have no experience.
Gentry vs PG           PG win -  Gentry , Gentry, Gentry, Gentry, :o  NOT VERY GOOD!!!!!!
PG vs Berryville       PG win -  ^^SAME^^SAME^^SAME^^SAME^^SAME^^
Lincoln vs PG           PG win -  Lincoln just went through the most successful stretch in school history.  They never got within 3 touchdowns of PG. Not changing

I already know what you are thinking, "101 picking PG to go undefeated in the regular season, no surprise"  If PG gets by Charleston, then I really do believe this will happen.  This team will be much better than last season.  I think PG is the only team on this schedule who can make that claim.  They will be bigger, stronger, more athletic, pretty much across the board.  They have a couple new kids that moved in (no, not recruited $hiloh, moved in) one at the end of last season, that is going to play a big roll this year.  Now when it comes to the playoffs I wont have a clue yet.  To many things can happen between now and then.

Let me tell you how it works in NWA.   There are more big money people with million dollar homes, in other surrounding towns, renting 2 bedroom apts, and calling it their home than you could ever imagine.  All for just getting to play where and for who they want.  Springdale, Harbor, and $hiloh, were famous for this the past 5 or 6 years.  The crazy part is the other schools and the AAA know it and wont do anything about it.  BUT,,,,  if a players in a 4A school were to try this all heck would break loose.

Charleston has a small history with this conference.
The Tigers have played Gentry for the past 7-8 years.
Lincoln and Pea Ridge were in the same conference with Charleston once upon a time.
The Tigers finally got their first win over Shiloh Christian a year ago after going 0-4 vs. the Saints back in the late 90's\ early 2000's.
Charleston was 3-0 vs. Prairie Grove back in the mid 90's.
In all the years of playing Gentry, the Pioneers lone win came in 2010 at Charleston in Week 2. The Tigers began that season with a win over Clarksville in Razorback Stadium in the Hooten's Kickoff Classic.

I think charleston starts the regular season being 1-2. With their one win against Ozark. And losing to Shiloh, and PG.

Charleston no longer plays Gentry.
The Pioneers have been replaced with Prairie Grove Week 2.

I don't think they'll be better overall,  I just think they'll win this game. I honestly thought Stuttgart had the most predictable offenses in the conference last year. Stuttgart will be improved but I think they're one more away from making major strides.

Might as well give a take on my Hillbillies...

@ Booneville: L--Should be closer than last two years, but Cats have slight senior edge.

@ Clarksville: W--Always a hard-fought match, but winning four of last five should give us plenty of confidence.  The Panther Juniors, though, should be highly comparable to ours.

Charleston: L--Are the Tigers really sticking with the Gun, as the Mag claims? I have my doubts considering their development model. Still, I don't expect it to make that much of a difference this season.

@ Clinton: W--This game will set the tone for the rest of the season. With the Jackets in rebuilding mode, We should have a rather good shot.

Subiaco: W--I'm not sure if the Trojans can even beat WYC again this year. That's how much they've had to replace.

@ Pottsville: L--Beating the Apaches is pretty indicative of team quality. Whether we'll be at that point by midseason remains to be seen.

Dardanelle: L--It won't be the offensive onslaught we witnessed last year, but the defense is another story.

@ Dover: W--Playing a large team on the Hillside is not the easiest task, but we should be experienced enough to pull through this time. This would probably be a loss if played earlier in the season.

Arkansas Baptist: W--The presence of the McGonigal twins is likely to make this a harder matchup than Clinton. We'll need to replicate last year's offensive production and eliminate its wanton gaffes if we wish to reach the postseason.

Robinson: L--Will our offense be able to outscore theirs? It'll be the closest analogue to last year's Clinton game.

So that would make it 5-5, 4-3. Right in the middle of of an unpredictable season.

At best, the Hillbillies could be 9-1 (Dardy's defense is just too much.)

At worst, 1-9 (Subi seems to be a bare cupboard ATM).

Most, if not all, of this season's final outcome will depend on how quickly the underclassmen turn the corner. Grades 7-11 (at least) have enjoyed considerable success; it'll only be so long before they've had enough with all the recent struggles.

TL;DR--Make your licks on the Hillbillies while you still can: You may have to wait a while for your next chance.

I think they will be 7 - 3 when regular season is over.  Win at least one playoff game.

Dardanelle

If Dardanelle pulls off the win in week 2 at Bonneville.  I see them going 10-0 again this season or 8-2 if a loss at Bonneville.

I'll guess FL goes between 2-8 and 8-2 for the reg season.

I think the 2-4A is so wide open this year that Riverivew or Batesville SS might sneak into the playoffs. It could happen !

If Riverview stays healthy they may surprise some teams this fall. Lot of experienced guys & a few new additions.

That would be fun to watch unfold if they could pull it off.  Experience normally wins out over youth!  Good luck to ya!
