Hooten's high school favorites to win it all in 2015 are Fayetteville in Class 7A, Pine Bluff in Class 6A, Pulaski Academy in Class 5A, Dardanelle in Class 4A, Smackover in Class 3A and Junction City in Class 2A.

I'm sure Hooten's thinking was that with Dardanelle's schedule, especially in that weak conference, they have a chance to go undefeated in the regular season. The highly ranked teams in the other conferences will probably lose at least once in the conference. I doubt they really think they have the best team in 4A.

Everybody is handing JC another trophy this year and I hope that is the case but it will depend on how fast some young guys step up. A few teams in the 2a return a good bit so it won't be a cake walk for us. Now after the first three weeks we will have a much better gage of things.

Would anyone on here happen to know when Barry Grooms of Hootens will be on drivetime sports to preview the season?
I was told he would be on this week, but when I've turned the show on to listen, he hasn't been on.
I haven't been able to listen all the way through this week though.
Hopefully I didn't miss him.
