Whatcha think?

Barton v.s. Episcopal

Barton's last three games are Episcopal, Cedar Ridge, and Rosebud. Will they win out and secure a playoff game at home?

Cedar Ridge will be the only test from here on out. Cedar Ridge has some good running backs and it will give the Bears problems.

The Bears defense is shaping out to be pretty unstoppable in terms of running the ball. By the time Cedar Ridge rolls around, I don't think it will even be a test.

After the upcoming massacre at Mayflower on Friday, the Timberwolves will be hard-pressed to recover enough to avoid being mercy-ruled by Barton and likely lose to BK in week 10, as well.

Barton 39-22
What in the world happened here? Did the Bears' entire starting lineup get the flu? Even Rose Bud beat Episcopal by 4 touchdowns.

The game was 33-0 in the first half and the bears pulled their starters and put in the backups on both sides of the ball. Was 33-6 at the half. The wildcats scored to make it a 33-14 game. The bears first team O scored again to make the score 39-14. From then on the bears had all of their backups in the game. The first team defense did not give up a score. Could have been a bigger deficit for the cats if the bears didn't call off the starters!

Aha! Hats off to the Barton coaching staff for going the extra mile not to run up the score and alllow the Wildcats to retain a measure of self-respect. Sounds like a class act.
