That brings up a good point.  What is the millage rate in Nashville?
31.7 total mills according to the latest report by the state.

Thought it was disclosed last year that he was given a gold membership to the best duck hunting lease in the Delta as part of his travel down south incentive package
I understand he likes to coon hunt.

I wonder why price left dardenell to come to a depressing part of the state?

Cuck. You rarely hit home runs. But you took the skin off the ball on this one.

September 1, when Pea Ridge visits Booneville, we'll find out a lot about both for this season.

+1.... He left Dardanelle because Stuttgart has more community support for its schools in every aspect. 2nd has that dude ever looked and noticed Yell County is one of the poorest counties in the state of Arkansas. That guy might want to look at his own backyard before he starts trashing 60% of the state.

I don't know if Booneville can win, but I believe they will keep it really close. That is a good one to look forward to for sure. Go Bearcats!

Fun fact.....Arkansas county ranks #10 in the state in income per capital.....yell county ranks #66...

I still figure the fact that Price had a history with Stuttgart and dardanelle was graduating the last of that loaded group had a little bit to do with it

They got lucky with their draw... They lost to Prairie Grove and Warren from the other side and would have lost to Stuttgart and Robinson too.

PR did play Warren to a slightly closer score!  If they had kept running the ball instead of trying to pass at the end of a couple of  crucial drives they may have won.

I am not new to this and you point out the 3 schools that have had discipline and talent over the past.  What about all the other schools with D1 talent and terrible records.
How do you explain the 2014 Clinton VS Pine Bluff Dollarway game?
I just think you will see the NW part of the state showing up deeper each year in the playoffs.  Unless the schools grow out of the 4-A. It is a social economic thing.  NW Arkansas will keep the players on the field.  A lot of the Southern schools have a hard time keeping their talent on the field. That is why most coaches want to coach North half of the State.

Dollarway is a poor example. Been watching them for 30+ years they have never been a truly discipline team. Oddly I don't mean that in a negative way! Yet most of the NWA would kill to have their success.

Strange how all these poor, undiscpline heathen southern schools with coaching leftovers continue to dominate most of the classification in most years.

Sounds like another pokey fan got the abridged "discounted" 4A copy.
Maybe if we had one of them fancy nwa Walmarts we might get the full thing.  Til then we poor chicken raising hill folk will just have to use that there a bridge version in the outhouse

I hope Price brings you success and I think he will.  And for the other guys I do not consider Dardanelle or Yell County to be in NWA.  I know it is a low income area and it has some of the same problems.

As for chest pounding Cuckoobird.  You do understand they have 3 winning seasons over the past 7 years.  Yes one season is a State title year, but that is not domination by any means.

I think Price will change that trend and he has a good start.

Since 2000 there have been only 4 public schools to win a state championship in 4A or what used to be 3A.

Nashville - 2005, 2006, 2007, 2015
Warren - 2001, 2002, 2014, 2016
Booneville - 2000, 2013
Stuttgart - 2012

The rest belong to private schools:

Shiloh Christian - 2008, 2009, 2010
Pulaski Academy - 2003, 2011
Central Arkansas Christian - 2004

Romeo

I think Warren is going to add two more to that list.

I think Warren is going to add two more to that list.

And if so that would give Warren 6 state titles and 8 title game appearances since Hembree took over in 2001. Quite impressive.

Since changing the offense to the RPO in 2012, Warren has reached at least the quarterfinals for the last five years, along with three championship appearances and two state titles. 56-13 record since the 2012 season. Prior to 2012, we reached the quarterfinals 5 times in the previous twelve years.

It has been even more beneficial to Warren the last 5 years to have the perfect QBs to run that system. This year will be more of the same.

bigchief72455

No doubt Warren has the most impressive record. The road to a title runs through them.

Warren has just had several good groups of kids come through the last few years. High school football has an ebb and flow so it'll change your n a few seasons.
