I go to school at ualr and think it would be cool to have a team, but other than the athletes I'm  not sure if it will bring more students to our school

Wow, if they can make this happen, that'd be awesome. I know they're talking about starting with D-III, which makes sense for now, but I'd love to see them become a full Sun Belt member and give stAte an annual in-state rival - assuming of course, we haven't jumped conference by then. Maybe they turn War Memorial Stadium into Trojan Field at War Memorial?

Yes when we researched it back in the 1980's the agreement signed by LRU to join the UA system said we can't have football without the UA BOT voting for it.
