I watched most of the game via streaming.  There were a TON of fouls called in this game.  Most by one particular official.  There were 14 fouls called in the first quarter alone.  Do the officials around this area always call it that tight?

Just like in football, during the season alot of officials call it looser then they tighten up in the playoffs. In reality it should have been officiated tighter during the season.

In that particular game, its purely my guess, but i would say one official called 60-70 percent of the fouls.  I didn't have a dog in the fight, i was just an observer but he called two fouls on an offensive player that were simply non-existent.  He indicated that the dribbler extended his arm when protecting the ball but i watched the replay multiple times on both calls and it just wasn't there. ANYWAY, i know these guys aren't pros and i understand that.  Its just that ALL of these high school kids work very hard at their skill and then to see one guy take over the game and make it a free throw contest just frustrates the heck out of me...

Glad MC fouled our best free throw shooter at the end then didn't give their last shot to their #23 helped Quitman out in the end. Sloppy game by Quitman second half MC gave em all they had!

Just want to give a shoutout to Maumelle Charter. They had a good season and almost knocked off the #1 seed last night on Quitman's home court. (I'm not from MC) This team deserves recognition for the hard work they have put in! I don't feel like they were handed an easy game last night. Quitman legitimately almost got beat by a #4 seed. The top of 5S Conference is tough and they have competed all year. Great job, Falcons!

Yes, and I hope i did not imply that calls were one sided.  This guy had a lot of bad calls against both teams.  I have watched other games that the bald guy has called and i can live with him.  but that skinny guy...geez..  Good luck to all the teams playing tonight.  I will be there in person and hope to see some great games.

Nope never felt you were implying it was one sided your spot on with the horrible calls he made. That blocked shot foul just really hacked me off!
