Gosnell run rules Harrisburg to get the 3 seed which if there lucky enough to get past the first round will get Harding academy or CAC in the second round. Oof

Quote from: RabAlumni on Today at 07:55:58 amNevermind, I found it. Looks like if Lonoke can secure the 1E today they will get an Automatic Bye and will play at 3 p.m. in 2nd Round against someone like Ozark or Warren, May 10th ?

Championship game says TBD... I am assuming it will be the 16th-18th when they play this at UCA?

I don't think it will be Ozark from that region. I think Lonoke could potentially play the Prairie Grove vs Morrilton loser in that region's championship game. Not sure about the South region though as to who will play PG/Morrilton in round 1 of state

I still can't believe Ozark got by Shiloh at regionals. That really aided PG not having to play Shiloh again in round 2

Class 4A Bulletin Board Material / Re: Genoa Central
Last post by beach bum - Today at 01:25:04 pm
Quote from: hillbilly on April 29, 2024, 10:59:17 amGenoa Central (AR): Lantz Castleman has been hired as the new head coach. Found that on footballscoop.com. He has been at Horatio.

I heard previously at Mena before Horatio? And I am not predicting Genoa wins a lot of games or anything of that nature, but I hear good things that if Genoa commits to 11 man they will stick it out... and not back out like they did under the previous regime. If so good hire if you ask me. For Mena not being that big of a place it sure produces a lot of coaches around the state whether they are an alum or spent time there as a coach.

Good luck to their kids who have chosen to play. I haven't seen their non conference schedule but I hope they have at least a couple games they can be competitive in right away.

Quote from: TheMaroonKnight on May 02, 2024, 12:34:35 amTo be fair I just wanna see one of my favorite teams win a Championship between Crossett Football, Baseball or Arkansas Football, Basketball and Baseball. I just wanna see em win one at least. Really hope Arkansas can get DVH a ring this year and Cal can get us one in basketball.
We all would like that for our sports teams. When those wishes start turning into unrealistic expectations just like Jimbo said that can run a coach off. And we have alot of those around and its usually people that can't even tell you the difference between cover 2 and 3.
