Starting this coming season, a new format for finals in Hot Springs.  No more waiting to hear when you play.

This Year:
Thursday-----  1A/2A Finals.  Split session as boys and girls play.  Then intercession.  Then the other class.
Friday-----  3A/4A Finals.  Same deal.
Saturday------  5A/6A Finals.  Same deal.

The rotation will change each year.

This will help in several ways but will likely require an admission twice in one day similar to the way it;s done on semifinal Saturday's.  But you will now on Saturday what day you play your Finals on and not wait on the Sunday meeting for the "drawing" as it had been.

This will not last. Mark it down

Why not? People complain about attendance issues as it is....Clearing the gym out in between classes solves that, and snags more money for the AAA as some folks will still make a day out of it

Hate this money scheme that aaa is pulling.  If have to leave gym and pay to renter.  Only 4 games.  Just will not need to go.  Maybe one year will end this.

Sounds like a way for the AAA to make some more money if you ask me...  ::)

Stay home and watch on TV if you don't have a vested interest in the teams playing. The AAA will lose money and it will change

Food is cheaper there too 😂

I just looked on the AAA website and you can pay either $8 per session or $12 for an all day pass.

The broadcast put on the past couple of years for the state finals have been top notch. So this actually isn't a bad suggestion. They have been very well done.

I think the break is a great move. There have been fans and family members missing their loved ones playing in the state championship game due to fire code. This forces fans to clear out. They already do the same with football and there is plenty of seating.
